Mission Statement

Our mission for the ‘Sisterhood of the Traveling Tzitzits’ is two fold. For women who are already walking in Torah, we want to create opportunity for them to meet locally and in person with the goal of creating authentic sisterhood, connection, and discipleship in Messiah. While we understand that this is a narrow road, we believe that we were meant to walk it with each other.

The second part of the mission is just as important as the first. We believe that when His daughters gather, their prayers are POWERFUL in Him. So we want to pray: pray that scales be taken off the eyes of the people who live in the area represented by each stop. Pray for marriages, for children, for true revival, for the promise of the Torah written on our hearts to be fulfilled in mighty ways in each area… that people may come to know that the perfect laws of our perfect Creator were always and always will be relevant.

"Awake, sleeper, and rise from the dead, and Messiah will shine on you.”

Ephesians 5:14

What Is the Traveling Tzitzit?

At every stop, women may gather for:
• prayer
• worship
• testimony
• encouragement
• fellowship
the handoff to the next sister and state

Each gathering becomes a memorial moment of unity and faithfulness. The tzitzit represents remembrance, covenant identity, joyful obedience, and walking in Torah with intentionality.

*WHAT TZITZITS ARE NOT*

We feel very strongly that the tzitzits are not to be treated as idols in any way. They are simply reminding us to keep the law and serving as sort of a baton, connecting women around the world who seek to walk in His ways.

“This is the love of God, that we keep His commandments. And His commandments are not burdensome.”

1 John 5:3

“Stand at the crossroads and look. Ask for the ancient paths, where the good way is, and walk in it.”

Jeremiah 6:16

“You are to make for yourselves tzitzit… so that you may look at them and remember all the commandments of Adonai and do them.”

Numbers 15:38–39

“If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.”

  2 Chronicles 7:14
