Asher’s passion for Biblical Hebrew began at the age of 15. Like many believers, he was inspired by a well-known pastor who regularly shared what he called “deep insights” from the original Hebrew Scriptures. Those teachings captivated Asher and sparked a desire to study Biblical Hebrew for himself.
As he immersed himself in the language, however, his eyes were opened to a sobering reality. He discovered that the pastor was frequently misusing the Hebrew text to support teachings that were not faithful to Scripture—including the claim that YHVH’s Torah was no longer relevant for followers of Yeshua. Rather than revealing the truth of YHVH’s Word, these so-called “Hebrew insights” were often leading people away from it.
That discovery became a turning point in Asher’s life. His study of Biblical Hebrew ultimately led him to embrace Torah observance, and it ignited a lifelong passion to help others read the Scriptures in their original language, discern truth from error, and walk in greater obedience to YHVH.
Today, Asher is passionate about equipping followers of Yeshua with the tools to engage the Scriptures in their original language so they can deepen their understanding of YHVH’s Word and confidently evaluate what they are taught. His desire is not simply to teach Hebrew, but to help believers reconnect with the rich biblical foundations of their faith.

Through his teaching, Asher seeks to help students:

Read the Scriptures in their original Hebrew.

Develop a deeper appreciation for the Bible’s historical and linguistic context.

Discern accurate teaching from common misconceptions.

Grow in their understanding of YHVH’s Word and walk more faithfully with Him.
One of Asher’s greatest burdens is to address the misinformation surrounding Biblical Hebrew that is sometimes found even within Torah-observant communities. He believes that careful, faithful scholarship honors both the Scriptures and the One who inspired them. His hope is that sound teaching will remove unnecessary stumbling blocks—encouraging Christians to take Torah observance more seriously and helping Jewish people consider Yeshua without being distracted by inaccurate claims about the Hebrew language.
Professionally, Asher serves as a professor at the Asia-Pacific Institute of International Studies (APIIS) in Singapore. He is also a doctoral researcher at the University of Southampton, where he specializes in the early Jewish and Christian interpretation of Scripture. His research requires proficiency in Biblical Hebrew, Aramaic, Greek, and Latin.
Outside of his academic work, Asher has been happily married to his wife for three years. Whether teaching in a seminary classroom or guiding students through the Hebrew Scriptures, his greatest desire is to equip believers to study YHVH’s Word with clarity, humility, and confidence, so they may know Adonai more deeply and faithfully follow His ways.

He has generously volunteered countless hours behind the scenes—answering questions, reviewing materials, correcting errors, and helping us strengthen the biblical foundation of this ministry. His heart has never been about building his own name, but about pointing people back to the truth of Scripture.

We are incredibly grateful that YHVH brought Asher into our lives. The fact that He connected a ministry in Kentucky with a Hebrew scholar and professor in Singapore is a beautiful reminder that YHVH is able to bring together His people from every corner of the world for His purposes.
